Sine Environmental provided the environmental  statement noise and vibration assessment for this 57MW heavy oil fuel-fired power plant jointly developed by CEC Africa Investments and TCQ Power in Sierra Leone. The power plant will provide a 40% increase in electrical capacity for the capital Freetown.

The environmental statement was conducted to world bank standards and involved desktop studies, managing local subcontractors, in-country survey work, noise modelling and mitigation design (in collaboration with technical specialists from Wärtsilä who have been selected to provide the combustion equipment).
